A special called meeting of the Town of New Hope Board of Aldermen/Town Council will be held on Monday, August 26, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the New Hope Town Hall, 121 Rockcrest Road, New Hope, Collin County, TX 75071, in accordance with the following:

A G E N D A

Item 1.        Call to order and Roll call.

                    Public Comments.               A person may address the Council on items not on the printed agenda. Comments are limited to three (3) minutes per speaker with 45 minutes total time for Public Comments.  The Town Council may not comment or deliberate regarding such statements or comment during this period. Any discussion of the subject must be limited to a proposal to place the subject on the agenda for a future meeting.

Item 2.        Public hearing to consider the proposed Annual Budget of the Town for fiscal year beginning October 1, 2019 and ending September 30, 2020 (FY 2019-2020).

Item 3.        Discuss and take action to adopt the Town’s Annual Budget for FY 2019-2020 and approve Resolution No. 2019-006-R reflecting the same.

Item 4.        Discuss and take action to ratify the tax increase included in the adopted Annual Budget for FY 2019-2020.

Item 5.        Discuss and take action on Resolution No. 2019-007-R, approving the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement with Collin County, Texas for Fire Inspection and Fire Plan Review Services for Commercial Building; and providing for an effective date.

Item 6.        Adjournment.
